okay, so i just got back from a summer camp thing in shanghai/beijing. i have no access to my computer/laptop for nine days, it's hot and humid, two days after we leave for beijing shanghai cools down and beijing's ridiculously hot, and it was absolutely pointless. and then, cuz i took a train back, at the train station, two kids in our group get sick so the security peoples let us sit in the comfy chair section. two seconds later, random people start crossing the tape barrier to sit down, completely ignoring the freakin' sign. and i thought chinese people were smart. apparently, common sense has an inverse proportion to intelligence.

EDIT: if china's good at anything, it's making stuff. so i saw this one thing at the Summer Palace and it was hilarious. but i wonder, would america kill me for this or think it's funny...
